Homemaking Heaven LTD reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions at any time by posting new terms and conditions on the website.

Liability

The Homemaking Heaven website will not be held accountable if we are unable to provide our online services for any reasons outside of our control - we do not guarantee that the website will be free from errors or available on an uninterrupted basis. We will not be responsible for any loss or destruction of data that may incur from using our services, unless we are negligent. This does not affect your statutory rights. At such a time as we may be held liable under these terms and conditions, our maximum liability to you will be the cost of the product(s) purchased by you.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Homemaking Heaven accepts payment by most major credit or debit cards. We use Shopify Payments, which processes the card details on our behalf. All transactions will be made in £ GBP sterling, and as the buyer you will be liable for any exchange rate charges that may be made by your card provider.

International Customers

In the event that goods are being ordered from outside of the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes may be incurred once they reach their destination. Homemaking Heaven is not responsible for these charges and we attempt to make no calculations or provide estimates for any import duties, taxes or other charges associated with posting abroad.

If you are buying internationally, we advise you to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures, or risk an unexpected charge. As the purchaser of the goods, you will be responsible for the import and as such should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the goods are being imported.Please be aware that upon arrival into the destination country, goods may be inspected for customs purposes and Homemaking Heaven cannot guarantee that the packaging of your Goods will be free from signs of inspection or tampering.

Product Pricing & Availability

All prices shown on the website will be displayed in £ British pounds sterling. Prices may change over time and without notice, but Homemaking Heaven LTD attempts to ensure at all times that prices are accurate. Prices include VAT at 20%.

Unfortunately we can not show stock availability on the website. Occasionally due to supply and demand, we may not be able to supply the item you have ordered immediately. Therefore all items are subject to availability.  As we process your order, we will inform you by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable or if delivery time will be longer than stated.

Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. 

Privacy

Use of the Homemaking Heaven website is governed by our privacy policy which is incorporated into our terms and conditions. We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. 

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

All content that appears on the Homemaking Heaven website, unless uploaded by users, including, but not limited to: images, text, logos, icons, graphics, data compilations, page layout, software ect. is the property of Homemaking Heaven or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

Third Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

Product Information 

We take great care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Homemaking Heaven website are correct when the information is entered onto the system. We try to keep the website as up to date as possible, but the information, including product descriptions may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. You may at times be required to select size/colour options which we attempt to clearly display. It is your responsibility as the purchaser to ensure that you have selected the correct option.

Product Colours

We try our hardest to depict colours on the site as accurately and clearly as possible. However, different computers may show colours in slightly different ways, and so exact colour matches are not yet entirely possible. This means that when you order products from us, the colours may differ from what you see on the screen, although we endeavour to show the colours as closely as possible to the real life colour. If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered, please refer to our returns policy.

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional

storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

Delivery

We use Royal Mail or courier services to delivery our orders. We can estimate delivery times but we cannot guarantee them. Please ensure you have provided the full and correct delivery address for your order to avoid any unecessary delays.  

Please be aware that the Distance Selling Regulations state that we have 30 days to deliver items.

Termination & Cancellation of Orders

We reserve the right to cancel purchases without stating reasons, for any reason prior to processing payment and dispatch. If purchases are cancelled for any reason prior to dispatch you will be refunded any monies paid in relation to those purchases.
